Mike Killick

Mike has 33 years of experience in the planning, design, construction supervision, project management and financial analysis of bulk water supply and water resource infrastructure. He has been involved with integrated water resource management (IWRM) and related project coordination and management of a wide range of water resource and bulk water infrastructure related studies. Experience has been gained in feasibility studies, design, contract documentation, programming and project management. Mike has also been responsible for the development of bulk infrastructure masterplans and water resource and catchment management strategies.
Mike previously worked for Aurecon Consulting Engineers (now Zutari) as a Technical Director and Global Client Director for Water. He currently holds the position of Director: Bulk Services in the City of Cape Town. In this role Mike is responsible for Bulk Water Supply to the City, Wastewater Treatment and Catchment Stormwater and River Management.
He is a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and holds several degrees including a master's in business administration from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town as well as a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a honours degree in business economics.
